Jerry Sturgill is a highly accomplished finance and investment banking executive, serving as Senior Advisor of Investment Banking and Finance at CO\\OP Studios. With over 30 years of experience spanning investment banking, corporate law, and business operations, Jerry brings a comprehensive and strategic financial perspective to the studio's ambitious growth plans.
As a Managing Director and leader of Capstone Partners' Agriculture Investment Banking Group, Jerry specializes in advising companies across agriculture, food-processing, ag-tech, and farm-based energy production. His vast expertise covers critical areas such as mergers & acquisitions advisory, capital structuring, corporate governance, and tax structuring, skills that are directly applicable to building and scaling CO\\OP Studios' innovative model.
Prior to rejoining Capstone, Jerry co-founded Galena Capital, a boutique investment banking firm in Boise, ID, and previously held a Managing Director role at Headwaters MB (now Capstone Partners). His diverse background also includes serving as the turnaround CEO of a regional security company and as a board member and investor in a dairy processing company with nationwide distribution. Jerry began his distinguished career as a corporate attorney at prestigious firms like Latham & Watkins in New York, NY, and Stoel Rives LLP in Boise, ID.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jerry is an active community leader, currently contributing his financial acumen and strategic guidance on the boards of the Lee Pesky Center and Foundation, Interfaith Sanctuary Housing Services, and The Boise Philharmonic Symphony & Orchestra. His profound financial expertise and extensive transactional experience will be invaluable in securing strategic investments and ensuring the robust financial health of CO\\OP Studios.
