Wesley Alley is a visionary filmmaker and a seasoned industry veteran, bringing his lifelong passion for storytelling to his role as Chief Production Officer at CO\\OP Studios. Growing up in a small, remote Idaho town without television, Wesley's world was shaped by the movies he rented with his father. He distinctly remembers the transformative power of film, particularly The Goonies, which offered a vital escape and sparked his desire to create worlds that could transport and inspire others in the same way.

Wesley's journey into filmmaking began with acting in school plays and continued through his studies at Boise State University for direction and performance. He further honed his craft at Full Sail University, earning both a bachelor's degree in Film and Television Production and a master's degree in Entertainment Business.

An award-winning writer, director, and producer, Wesley has a rich portfolio that includes co-directing the feature film "The Voices," and helming "Sockmonster" and "Good Girl" in collaboration with Darren Lynn Bousman (Director of the Saw Franchise). His directorial prowess is also evident in action-packed shorts like "Four Hour Layover in Juarez" and award winning short film, "Fleeced."

Beyond his directorial achievements, Wesley is an industry regular and a highly respected member of IATSE Local 728, one of the world's most highly-trained lighting unions. He has served as Chief Lighting Technician (Gaffer) on dozens of blockbuster projects, including the Transformers franchise, Kong: Skull Island, "The Mandalorian," and "Westworld," demonstrating his profound understanding of large-scale production.

At CO\\OP Studios, Wesley is dedicated to leveraging his extensive experience to build a production pipeline that empowers local talent and creates globally resonant content, fulfilling his lifelong dream of making movies that deeply connect with audiences.
